Daily Diary and test results – William Day 5
I slept soundly last night and my wife tells me I did snore but that it was very faint and did not commence until around 3:30am. I slept right through the night.
I woke up feeling fresh and clear in my head. Again I have had a coffee this morning which I am still very attached to. I had my usual breakfast of Wise Nutrients and Gut Restore.
I am usually very regular in the morning but I hardly passed any stool this morning, also the frequency of urination has slowed down completely and is back to normal.
I have a lot on today and are required to travel North of Brisbane(over an hours drive). Sitting in the car driving for long periods will definitely be a test of energy. Then this afternoon I have an hour of martial arts training. This is going to be a true test of my endurance levels.
The previous time I completed the FFDetox I had a protien shake before training. I used the Wise Nutrients Clean Energy, which is a blend of bio-fermeted brown rice protein and fermented super greens high in fermented spiralina, this gave me a huge lift in sustained energy.
About mid morning I was required to help move a heavy load. Truth be told I was helping to push a marooned fork lift off the gutter. Wow, after pushing and shoving this thing I was exhausted. Not in the sense that I needed to have a sleep, just in the sense that my muscles were out of grunt. Like my batteries were flat… mmmm wonder how training will go this afternoon.
I have been on the move all day, have not had the opportunity for even a cup of tea, so I am running on nothing but water. I feel fine and have a wonderfully clear head. funny thing is my thoughts seem to be calmer, not so much of what I would call ‘monkey mind’. My thoughts are focused and not jumping all over the place.
Ok so this afternoon I had to collect the kiddos from school, get them home, feed them and then get them and myself off to training.
I was running late, caught up in the Friday afternoon commuter traffic coming back down from Brisbane and made more stressful when the car fuel gauge flashed up that it was on the reserve tank. I felt the physical effects of the stress more then usual. It is as if I am more susceptible to my emotions, more finely tuned if this makes sense. The result was that I felt quite tired. None-the-less mind over matter. Collected the kids, fed them and barked the necessary orders to ensure they were ready to leave for training.
Back from training and I survived. Before I went I had a Clean Energy Protein shake. I mixed it in the shaker provided in the kit. This hit my stomach and I felt a little uncomfortable, like my stomach was full of fluid. This feeling quickly dissipated. I had the shake 30 mins prior to training and by the time I started throwing punches I could feel the energy kick in.
Thank you Clean Energy!
My training was respectable albeit not as extreme as the usual Friday. My body reached a failure point quicker then it usually would but I did not stop and managed to press on. I do not expect to be able to train any where near as hard as I might normally do, but I still want to continue my weekly regime while on the FFDetox, and to date I certainly have been able to achieve this with ease. Definitely will be sleeping well tonight.
Now closing off for the night. A dinner of Wise Nutrients and Gut Restore (yum yum) followed by a cup of herbal tea and then a bit of family time with my girls. Life is good. Day 5 draws to an end. Tonight is a little harder because it is Friday night and I would normally enjoy a drink of beer and wine as it is the end of the week, but not tonight.
I am now looking at the weekend and I wonder whether the lack of distraction provided by work will make these days any harder or perhaps easier. I still have plenty I want to accomplish over the weekend and will make sure I keep myself busy.
